The above might sound like gibberish to you, but it is actually an incredibly famous catchphrase in the Netherlands. Since 1985, De Hypotheker has helped millions of people with the most important purchase of their lives: their homes. In doing so, De Hypotheker has become well known for its strong advisory role, aiding people with their mortgages, insurance, and other financial products.

A human-orientated online strategy
With over 85.000 advice sessions a year in their 170-plus branches, De Hypotheker is everything but small. And because big players don’t want to lose their footing, De Hypotheker has set its sights on assisting its audience online. That’s where we come in. De Hypotheker isn’t new to the online game; you can find them on Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook and Twitter. But it's up to Marble to take these platforms to the next level. What do we mean by that? Well, by shifting the focus to building a community where De Hypotheker not only informs but also inspires its customer base, we’re creating so much more than just a curated feed. We’ve made great leaps by actively implementing our human-orientated online strategy.

But how did we pull this off? First things first, we reviewed the existing content on De Hypotheker's social media channels. What new chances are there? What strategy best fits their desire to grow online and, more importantly, build a solid community? Once we had all the answers and created a strategy, we set out to implement it. And the positive results are starting to show. De Hypotheker is growing in online reach, followers, and interaction, all within a short amount of time!
