Founded above a karaoke bar in the infamous Reguliersdwarstraat in Amsterdam, Marble was never scared of making a whole lotta noise. After perfecting our harmonies for seven years, this female-led agency has been in perfect sync with the industry ever since. (Just don’t judge our pitch after six wines!)

Even though this boutique agency has since left the most colourful street in Amsterdam, we’ve made sure to always keep that fierce attitude. Now located next to Vondelpark, we maintain our Amsterdam charm while serving clients both nationally and globally, embracing those who dare to be extravagant. Every client has a place in our hearts, we promise. But let’s be honest: as an all-female team, we do have a soft spot for fashion brands. So when WE Fashion crossed our path, we were more than ready to bring our wordsmithing A-game. A Dutch heritage brand with over 200 stores across Europe, WE blends timeless wardrobe staples with fresh-off-the-runway trends. And when it comes to fashion, staying on the pulse is everything, including your copy.

A close collaboration
Fashion doesn’t stand still, and neither can your copy. From newsletters to billboards, website updates to social captions, WE needed copy that could keep up with the pace. That’s where Marble came in. We quickly got to grips with the brand’s tone of voice, in both Dutch and English (UK), and hit the ground running. In just six months, we delivered 135 newsletters, crafted scroll-stopping ad copy, and saw our words light up a very large billboard outside HQ. Speaking about highlights! Bringing a brand’s tone of voice to life? That’s our catwalk. Whether it was backstage at a WE Fashion show or in-store comms across Europe, our copy was everywhere. From punchy headlines on hangtags to witty one-liners on the A10, we made sure WE’s messaging had style and substance. And when we got to throw in a dash of humour? Even better. We worked closely with the in-house team, often on-site in Utrecht, because as much as we live online, we still believe nothing beats a good old-fashioned face-to-face.
A temporary extension of the team

After six months of fast-paced copy magic, we handed the baton over to WE’s new in-house copywriter, but we’re never far away. Should the team need extra hands again, they know where to find us. For now, we’re proud to look back on a stylish partnership with seriously strong results.
